The 36th NI Dorset Club Autumn Show and Sale will be held on Monday 13th October 2025 at J.A McClelland & Sons Livestock Mart, Unit 1, Woodside Park, Woodside Rd, Broughshane, Ballymena.
Show: 5pm, Sale: 6.30pm.
Judge: Miss Rachel Moore, Bannside Flock, Portglenone.

If you are using the tagging system your society flock number and the year letter must be printed on the tag
Welcome to the Northern Ireland Dorset Club Website
The Northern Ireland Dorset Sheep Breeder's Club has been actively promoting the Dorset breed for well over 60 years and encouraging the Dorset sheep breeders to produce a modern, commercially focused, saleable type of sheep.
In recent times this dedication to quality has seen the trend in the commercial sheep sector move towards the Dorset breed as commercial farmers investigate the true merits of the Dorset breed as they search for profitable prime lamb production to suit their specific needs.
As well as ensuring special Dorset classes at agricultural shows, the club organises a National Show and a nuber of pedigree sales across the province annually. The Premier Sale in July and the Autumn Sale in October, are both held in McClellands Livestock Market, Ballymena. Another breed sale is held in Omagh, which this year will be held at Beatties Pedigree Centre in August.
The social aspect of the Club is also very important and members seek to encourage new breeders to join in all club activities.
