The 24th annual autumn Dorset show and sale, sponsored by Danske Bank, proved another huge hit for Northern Ireland's breeders.
Held in McClelland's Ballymena Mart, the show was judged by NI Dorset Club chairman, Mr Trevor Knox.
The event sponsors were represented by Mr Roger Hill from Danske Bank in Ballymena.
Show results were as follows:
Ewe Lambs - 1st, W&K Carson; 2nd, W&K Carson; 3rd, Ken Thompson; 4th, W&C Johnston.
Shearling Ewes- 1st, T&K Madden; 2nd,G. Cubitt.
Senior Ewes- 1st, T&K Madden.
Ram Lambs - 1st, Ben Lamb; 2nd, M. Stevenson; 3rd, R&M Coulter; 4th, L. Weir.
Shearling Rams - 1st, A. Fleming.
Senior Rams - 1st, Ben Lamb; 2nd, A. Johnston.
Overall Champion was W&K Carson's ewe lamb, while Reserve Champion went to the senior ram owned by Ben Lamb.
Lot 71 - Ben Lamb's first prize ram lamb - made the top price, selling for 650gns to Jim McAuley of Ballyward,
Castlewellan.
The second highest seller was W&K Carson's Champion ewe lamb, bought by Dromara's Andrew Knox for 500gns, while another ewe lamb from the same home sold at 410gns to S. McConnell, Annalong.
Graham Cubitt's shearling ewe topped her class selling for 460gns to Michael Patton from Stranocum.
Two ewe lambs went for the next top prices, with another ewe lamb from the Carson pen, the second prize winner, selling at 380gns to D. McGee, Dungannon. Ken Thompson's third prize winner sold for 320gns to W&K Carson.
The second prize ram lamb from Matthew Steenson went for 310gns, selling to Crebilly Farms, Ballymena.

Robert and Matthew Coulters' pen of ram lambs came next selling at 300gns each to Paul Crawford, Islandmage, Alexander Hanna, Ballynahinch, and Darren Coulson, also from Islandmagee.
Ewe lambs averaged £197.06
Ram lambs averaged £340.67
Shearling ewes averaged £222.75
Shearling ram or older averaged £262.5
