Spring Fat Lamb Show and Sale 2006

McClelland's Spring Lamb Show & Sale in Ballymena Mart

A large turnout of Dorset lambs easily outnumbered all other breeds at McClellands spring lamb show and sale 2006. Dorset spring lamb sold to £83 with the top price being received by Thomas Madden. In the breed competition Caldwell Bros took first place with A Fleming and ME Stewart taking second and third place respectively. The sale clearly demonstrated the ever increasing popularity of the Dorset as both the terminal sire and the breed of choice for early lamb production.
