This ram sold for the top sale price of 1100gns selling to Sam Driver, Glossop, Derbyshire. Thomas Wright also won the Male Champion and Reserve Supreme at the Borderway event with another Ballytaggart ram lamb, this time by the stock ram Downkillybegs NiteHawk - himself a former Carlisle supreme champion, who later sold for 600gns selling to Matt Care, Burhos flock, Helston, Cornwall.

Taking the second top price of the day was another Northern Ireland ram lamb, this time from N.I. club chairman, Ben Lamb. Mr Lamb's Richhill Stallone, by Downkillybegs Pegasus, was a carrier of Myomax muscle gene and sold up north to Mrs Marianne Sheed, Huntly, Aberdeenshire.

Topping the female trade was the day's Female and Supreme Overall Champion, as picked by Brenda Wear, Redhill flock, Butcombe, Somerset, a ewe lamb from Association Chairman David Rossiter, Kingsbridge, Devon. This impressive ewe lamb, by Bennachie Nimrod sold for 700gns to Toby Holland, Cardigan, Ceredigion.
